Kindergarten 2

Kindergarten 2

Our Kindergarten 2 provide a safe and welcoming environment for our students. It is the place where our students develop a true love of learning through challenging educational opportunities, enriching and honing their unique talents to meet their diverse individual needs.

Our toddler class is for 5-6 years old

The educational method we use is a combination of the Cambridge Curriculum, the National Curriculum (K-13), and the Montessori Method. The Cambridge Curriculum we use refers to the customized Cambridge Curriculum for Primary. This curriculum covers 3 main subjects: Math, English, and Science. Meanwhile, K-13 is used as a guide in the development of soft skills and hard skills which include aspects of competence in attitudes, skills and knowledge. Preschool also added character education and religion focus to create a generation with noble character and character. The 2020/2021 preschool curriculum is now being adjusted back to K13, namely by fixing the existing curriculum into an integrated thematic by setting 4 themes in 1 year. The Montessori method is our way to stimulate the motor and cognitive development of each student. This method emphasizes self-learning with standardized montessori tools.

Our preschool also provides a Religion Focus program. This program is given 2 times a week. This program is aimed at deepening the knowledge of religion according to their respective beliefs. Religion Focus provides students with religious education which will later be useful for spiritual and social needs. It is also hoped that this will influence the character building of children with good character, courtesy and karma in accordance with the recommendations of their respective religions. The Religion Focus provided includes:

1.RF TPA for Islam

2.RF Christian for Christianity

3.RF Catholic for Catholicism

4.Character Focus for other than religion mentioned above

The uniqueness of the preschool program which introduces learning Indonesian in the Kindergarten 2 class certainly has several considerations, including:
Preschool students are prepared to have a basic ability to communicate actively and passively in English first, which starts from the babies-toddler-playgroup-kindergarten 1 class; Preschool students are prepared to go to the next level, namely primary where they will use the National Curriculum which uses Indonesian as the language of instruction; Learning Indonesian as a mother tongue will certainly be easier than a foreign language. Therefore, 1 year in Kindergarten 2 is considered sufficient to strengthen understanding of Indonesian
